Defiance College to kick off 175th celebration Friday.

Defiance College, founded on March 23, 1850, will kick off its 175th anniversary celebration with an event at 10 a.m. Friday at the Serrick Campus Center according to the Crescent News. This celebration, “Strengthening Defiance College,” is free and open to the public, and will feature participation by the Defiance College pep band and Defiance College cheerleaders. The program will open with remarks from Dr. Richanne C. Mankey, president of Defiance College, and Deb Hench, a member of the Defiance College Board of Trustees. Also speaking will be Ryan Mack, administrator for the City of Defiance, and Will Garlock, president of the Defiance College Student Senate.
