Defiance County grand jury hands down indictments

26 year old Clint P. Krill of The Bend Road, Sherwood, was indicted by a Defiance County grand jury on one count each of rape; attempted rape; and abduction. Authorities allege that on Oct. 30, Krill forced a female to engage in sexual conduct and prevented her from leaving a residence.
36 year old Johnny R. Begley of W. Main St., Alvordton, was indicted was indicted by a Defiance County grand jury on one count each of involuntary manslaughter; trafficking in heroin; and possession of heroin. Authorities allege that in June, Begley trafficked heroin resulting in a person’s death. A search of his residence also allegedly turned up heroin and materials related to the packaging and distribution of the drug.
