A Defiance County grand jury has returned an indictment against one man charged with robbery and six other offenses. 23 year old Daymon Walker, 23 of Hicksville, was indicted on multiple charges of robbery, attempted grand theft and other charges. Authorities allege that on Nov. 9, following a traffic crash on Defiance-Williams County Line Road in Defiance County, Walker threatened, or attempted to inflict, physical harm while trying to steal a vehicle from another person so he could flee the scene. Authorities further allege that Walker attempted to steal three separate individuals’ vehicles, causing damage to two of them, one of which was used as a volunteer fire department vehicle. He also allegedly caused injury to another male by punching him in the face.
