Defiance County Relay For Life hosting Community Night.

The Relay for Life of Defiance County has taken a different approach this year hosting a variety of activities throughout the year instead of one large celebration. One of those unique events is the Community Night sponsored by Glenn Park of Defiance to be held June 13 from 5:30-8 p.m. Survivors and their caregivers are urged to RSVP for the annual dinner before Thursday’s deadline by contacting Karla Batt at 419-439-2746. One of the most meaningful components of a Relay event that will be included that evening is the luminary ceremony to celebrate the survivors, to remember the lost and to fight back for those in treatment. The Relay for Life of Williams County event is June 7 from 5 p.m.-noon at the Williams County Fairgrounds in Montpelier followed by the Relay for Life of Fulton County on June 8 from 11:30 a.m.-1 a.m. at St. Caspar’s Catholic Church Parish Center.
