Defiance High School graduate appointed to asst. secretary of ACF.

Alex Adams, a 2003 graduate of Defiance High School, was recently appointed by President Donald Trump to become the assistant secretary of the Administration for Children and Families. Adams was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on Oct. 7th and sworn into office by U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Nov. 24th. The ACF oversees 60 programs and has a $70 billion budget, with programs ranging from Head Start to adoption assistance.
