Defiance Highway Patrol Sergeant Honored

Sergeant Patrick Tusko of the Defi­ance Post of the Ohio High­way Patrol was hon­ored for his heroic actions dur­ing a crash. He was pre­sented with the high­est form of honor, the pres­ti­gious Superintendent’s Cita­tion of Merit Award. Sergeant Tusko began his Patrol career in Feb­ru­ary 1997 as a mem­ber of the 128th Acad­emy Class. He earned his com­mis­sion in July of that year and is assigned to the Defi­ance Post. In 2013, he was pro­moted to the rank of sergeant and remained at the Defi­ance Post to serve as an assis­tant post commander.
