Defiance Home Burned

Defi­ance fire­fight­ers bat­tled a house fire at the Linda Barham res­i­dence, 935 Perry Street over the week­end. Smoke was vis­i­ble from the home when fire­fight­ers arrived at approx­i­mately 5 p.m. Sat­ur­day.

The fire was con­tained by about 5:30. Assist­ing at that Defi­ance fire were High­land and Noble town­ship fire depart­ments. No reports of any injuries, and no dam­age assess­ment has yet been released. The cause of that Sat­ur­day blaze in Defi­ance remains under inves­ti­ga­tion today.
