Defiance man arraigned on multiple sexual assault charges

A Defiance man has been arraigned in Defiance County Common Pleas Court on three sexual abuse charges. 20 year old Timothy Moore of Douglas St., pleaded not guilty to rape; sexual battery; and gross sexual imposition. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 28 and bond was set at $100,000 cash. Authorities allege that on March 18 he engaged in sexual contact and sexual conduct with a 17-year-old female who was compelled to submit by force or otherwise with knowledge that the female’s judgement was substantially impaired.
