Defiance man gets 11 years in cocaine case

A Defi­ance man has been sen­tenced to spend 10 years in prison for drug traf­fick­ing and bur­glary. 26-year-old Andrew Smith pleaded guilty to traf­fick­ing cocaine and sec­ond degree bur­glary in Defi­ance County Com­mon Pleas Court.

Judge Joseph Schmenk sen­tenced him to 11 years and ordered Smith pay about $4,300 in restitution.
