A Defiance man goes to prison after prosecutors convinced the court he had beaten a 7-week-old Defiance girl. Dominic Torrez, 32, plead no contest to the assault charges. He was sentenced to six years’, with 114 days already served. The incident happened at the baby’s mothers home in January. The child still needs treatment.
