Defiance man received life sentences for multiple sex offenses

A Defiance man received life sentences in Defiance County Common Pleas Court last week for multiple sex offenses. According to Defiance County Prosecutor Morris Murray, 62 year old Ronald Brown was sentenced to life imprisonment after pleading guilty to two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape with the specification the victim was under 10 years of age, and one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. He will not be eligible for parole until he has served 15 years. Brown was also classified as a Tier III sex offender, which would require lifetime registration if he is ever released from prison.
