DeKalb County investigators say a weekend garage fire appears suspicious.
At about 5 a.m. Saturday, fire and police responded to a call about a garage that was on fire in Altona.
Fire crews placed the fire under control, but about a third of the structure sustained heavy damage according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
They say they suspect foul play because the fire originated at a point in the building that faced an alley.
The investigation into that weekend fire is continuing today.
