Delta Woman Killed In Crash

A woman from Delta woman has been killed in a two-vehicle crash.

The Ohio High­way Patrol says 34 year old Melissa Cli­nard was pro­nounced dead at the scene of the crash, which hap­pened Tues­day morn­ing.

Police say Cli­nard was headed south on County Road 3 in Swan­creek Town­ship just after 8:30am when she ran through a stop sign at County Road D and was hit by an Ohio Depart­ment of Trans­porta­tion vehi­cle dri­ven by 44 year old Mark Nis­sen of Per­rys­burg.

Nis­sen wasn’t hurt. The crash remains under investigation.
