Demolition of the old school in Edon is underway. The property consists of eight vacant structures that were the site of the district’s school buildings until 2005. The site later housed a storage facility until the mid-2010s. It is currently owned by the Williams County Land Bank, which is in charge of the demolition…currently planned for completion by the end of July. Once demolition is complete the village will buy it from the land bank. From there, the plan is to work with the Williams County Port Authority for developing into residential properties.
