Dempsey Captured In NV

The man wanted in the death of a woman found shot to death in Paulding County Sunday is caught in Nevada. Elko County officials there say Matthew Dempsey was arrested in the town of Carlin, 400 miles north of Las Vegas. He was pulled over and with officers approaching the vehicle, Dempsey, with his own rifle pointed at his head, threatened to kill himself. The police were able to talk him out of the car. Dempsey was the subject of a manhunt in the region after Gina Mann’s body was found in a car in a garage behind a home on County Road 87 in Briceton last weekend.
