Dempsey Trial Update

A pretrial hearing was held for Matthew Dempsey, the Briceton man who faces murder charges on Monday. Dempsey is accused of murdering Gina Mann, 47 at their County Road 87, address back in April. Mann was shot to death. After a nationwide manhunt, Dempsey was picked up in Northern Nevada. You may remember, he tried to break out of the Paulding County lockup a few weeks after his arrest, he has charges related to that involved in the case as well. Dempsey is held on seven million dollars bond.
