A deputy from Henry County was involved in a crash on Saturday afternoon. The Ohio Highway Patrol is investigating the crash that happened on County Road U at Township Road 17-E in Freedom Township about 4 p.m. A 17-year-old driver turned infront of the deputy’s vehicle and was hit. Both went into a ditch and neither were seriously hurt. The deputy, Todd Ranzau, was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
