Dolores June Robarge, age 84, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at her home. Dolores was a homemaker and helped her husband for many years with farming. She was a member of the First Brethren Church in Bryan and enjoyed her Sunday School classes there. One of her greatest joys in the past few years was her once monthly dinner with her surviving siblings.
Dolores was born on January 31, 1930, in Defiance, Ohio, the daughter of Elsworth O. and Helen L. (Partee) Florence. She graduated from Defiance High School. She married Franklin “Jake” Robarge, Jr. on June 19, 1948, and he preceded her in death.
Dolores is survived by her sons, John (Laura) Robarge, of Bryan, Ron (Tammy) Robarge, of Bryan, and Larry (Deb) Robarge, of West Unity, Ohio; daughter, Pat Robarge, of Stryker, Ohio; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and siblings, Don Florence, of Bryan, Mary (Arnold) Mandrick, of Hillsdale, Michigan, Roger (Fran) Florence, of Defiance, Jean (Lavon) Wiseman, of Ayersville, Ohio, Janet (Bill) Fischer, of Defiance, Rita (Paul) Karnes, of Ayersville, Ken (Bernice) Florence, of Defiance, and Bob (Betty) Florence, of Ayersville. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Franklin “Jake” Robarge, Jr.; daughter, Polly Batterson; sister, Norma Miller; and brothers, Lavon and Larry Florence.
Funeral services for Dolores June Robarge will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at 1:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan. Burial will follow at Shiffler Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 A.M.
Memorials in memory of Dolores may be given to the First Brethren Church.
