Donations raised for Montpelier monuments

The Drive for your Community fundraiser held Friday in Bryan raised money for the Williams County Veterans Memorial to replace the decaying monuments in Montpelier at the fairgrounds. The Ford Corporation paid $20 for each test drive at the Ford Dealership on North Main Street. The dealership was torched in May and the owner, Chip Wood, said he hopes to reopen in July. A final tally hasn’t been released.
