A traffic stop on the Toll Road in LaGrange County leads to the arrests of a man and woman from New Jersey on drug charges. Troopers spotted a speeding vehicle, eastbound, near the 121 mile marker and made a stop. They became suspicious while talking with the woman who was driving. A police dog then detected drugs in the car. A search turns up a duffel bag with three jars of marijuana…fifty boxes of liquid THC, a small digital scale, and marijuana paraphernalia. 23-year-old Jessica Bird was charged. Her passenger, 20-year-old Christian Isaken, was arrested, also. Troopers believe the items were bought in Utah, with the intention of re-selling them in New Jersey. Bird and Isaken were taken to LaGrange County Jail.
