DUI Crash In DKC

Officials say a woman, driving under the influence of alcohol is hospitalized after she crashes her car in rural Dekalb County. It’s Amanda Faulker, 41 of Garrett. Officials tell reporters…she was driving east on County Road 36 when she ran off the side of the road and into a ditch. Faulkner managed to get the car back onto the road, but spun into the westbound lane, hitting the shoulder, and rolling onto the passenger side. Faulker refused EMS treatment at the scene…but she was taken to the hospital for back pain. DUI charges apply in the case. The investigation continues by both state and local officials.
