Edon Looks At Charter Designation

The Edon Village Council is looking at becoming a charter village. They have put together a fact finding committee to take a look at the possibility. The title, charter village, entitles municipalities to take full advantage of home rule authority. Home rule powers include the power of self-government, the exercise of police powers and ownership and operation of public utilities.
