EDUCATOR HONORED

A local edu­ca­tor received an honor last night.

The Cen­tral Local Board of Edu­ca­tion rec­og­nized a mem­ber of their fac­ulty at Wednesday’s board meet­ing.

Sci­ence teacher Jake Pan­ico received the McK­etta Out­stand­ing High School Teacher of the Year Award at a din­ner last Fri­day night.

Pan­ico was nom­i­nated for the award by 2011 Fairview High School grad­u­ate Kyla Dietrich.
