An enterprise zone agreement with a 15-year, 100 percent tax abatement has been approved for Menards. Holiday City Village Council approved the measure at its regular meeting last week. The company is expected start construction in late spring or early summer for a building adjacent to its existing facilities. Williams County Economic Development Corporation (WEDCO) Executive Director Matt Davis said Menards is investing $24 million to $30 million for equipment and construction to produce pre-hung doors and countertops. Over a three-year period the expansion will be bring around 100 new jobs to Holiday City.
