Eva L. Coffman, age 78, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 11:40 P.M. on Thursday, November 5, 2015, in her home following an extended illness. Mrs. Coffman was a homemaker. A graduate of Spencerville, Ohio, High School, she and her husband had been residents of Edgerton since 1974 and wintered in Texas for twenty-six years.
Eva L. Coffman was born on May 17, 1937, in Spencerville, Ohio, the daughter of LeRoy and Ferald (Rostorfer) Rider. She married Homer M. Coffman on June 30, 1956, in Spencerville and he survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Pamela Coffman, of Edgerton, Ohio, Lori Poncsak, of Pasadena, California, and Sherrie (Roger) Tipping, of West Unity, Ohio; one son, Ronald (Brenda) Coffman, of Edgerton; six grandchildren, Brandon and Angie Brown, Ryan and Lauren Perry, Justin and Tyler Coffman; four great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, JoAnn Rider, of Spencerville. She was preceded in death by one sister, Leona Nungester, and one brother, John Rider.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Reverend Mary Wood and Reverend R.L. Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton.
