A former police officer in Hicksville is awaiting sentencing on various charges after pleading guilty of domestic violence and using the Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway police database without authorization. Charges of menacing by stalking and possessing criminal tools were dismissed. Nathan Metz was arrested after being accused of threatening physical harm to his estranged wife while possessing a firearm. Sentencing will be next month.
