Ohio sees a slight drop in farm real estate value over the last year, an assessment that appears to hold true for the Williams County area. Nationwide, the average U.S. farm real estate value increased 2.3 percent to $3,080 per acre in 2017. The corn belt still had the highest values of $6,260 per acre, despite decreases in four of the five states. Ohio saw a slight decrease of 0.9 percent, averaging $5,650 per acre.
