Farmers and truckers from Williams County heading west to help disaster victims

A group of farmers and truckers from Williams County, Ohio and the surrounding area are headed from Montpelier to Kansas and Oklahoma to help people rebuild after wildfires tore through farmlands in that region. Many of the ranchers have lost everything. Area organizer Logan Reese says that they have been loading up trucks filled with items to donate to ranchers out west. Reese, who has helped coordinate the efforts, says many supplies are still needed, some more than others. Designated drop-off locations for donations include Gerald Grain in Liberty Center, Wauseon, and Napoleon; Hartland Energy in Stryker; and Superior Farm Supply in Montpelier.
