Cleanup continues this week at the site of a Friday morning crash that involved two semis. Spilled at Ohio 34 and County Road 24 in Henry County’s Ridgeville Township was a large amount of diesel fuel and used motor oil. According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occur at 9 a.m. when a southbound semi truck driven by 32 year old Singh Harni-mar-preet of Brampton, Ontario, failed to yield at the intersection and collided with a westbound vehicle driven by 31 year old Matthew Watson of Allegan, Mich. Both semis came to rest on the southwest side of County Road 24. Watson was ejected from the vehicle and landed in a nearby pond. Watson was taken by air ambulance from the scene to Toledo’s St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition early this morning. Harnimarpreet was taken by Archbold Rescue to the Fulton County Health Center.
