Farmers & Merchants State Bank website changes domain name

f you bank at Farmers & Merchants State Bank and do online banking with them, you’ve probably noticed they have become the first local bank with a still relatively new distinction in security, but one that has been widely used elsewhere. According to the bank, it has moved its website to www.fm.bank. The .bank domain name has caught on across the country as a way to protect against fraudulent websites that may seek to steal banking information or infect computers with harmful malware. It is currently used by about 40 percent of banks in the U.S., according to fTLD Registry Services.
