Fatal Accident In Wood County

Two people are dead after a two-vehicle crash in Wood County on US 6 at Rudolph Road in Plain Township. A southbound car failed to yield at a stop sign…it collided with an SUV. Both the driver and the front seat passenger of the car were pronounced dead at the scene. An air ambulance transported a passenger in the rear of the vehicle to the hospital. The driver and passengers in the SUV were transported to the hospital by ambulance and are listed in stable condition. The crash remains under investigation.
