A woman and her unborn child were killed after a traffic crash in Whiteford Township Saturday night. According to the Monroe County Sheriff, the crash happened just after 10 p.m. on northbound US-23, north of Consear Road. A preliminary investigation indicated that Kaitlyn Ellison, 32, of Petersburg, Mich. was driving a vehicle northbound on US-23 when she was side-swiped by another auto.
