Fatal Crash Near Harrison Twp

A man dies in a motorcycle crash in Henry County. Joshua Dalton of Morristown, Tennessee was heading east on U.S. 6, west of Township Road 8 in Harrison Township. Ronald Weichers of Napoleon, was turning left from a private driveway onto 6 in his pickup. Witnesses told officers Dalton put his motorcycle down on the roadway in an attempt to avoid the collision. He struck the pickup on the driver’s side and was ejected into a guardrail. Weichers safely got out of his vehicle before it caught on fire. Dalton was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
