Fatal Crash On 6

A Defiance man dies in a crash on Highway 6, about six miles southeast of Bryan. Officials tell reporters Phillip Powell was westbound…when he goes over the median, into oncoming traffic. That’s when he slams into a pickup, driven by Roger Bostelman, of Hamler. Powell was pronounced dead when officials arrived at the scene. Bostelman was flown to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, with serious injuries. Two other passengers in the second vehicle are hurt as well. The investigation into the crash continues.
