Fatal On 27

There was a fatal accident on Old US 27, just north of State Road 120 in Steuben County. A Steuben County Deputy was attempting to stop a car driven by Ebonie Geddes of Angola, for a traffic violation. Geddes continued northbound through a red light at the intersection of Old US 27 and 120. Geddes then drove left of center and collided head-on with an SUV. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV, Haley Bracewell, 17, and front seat passenger, Eric Bracewell, age 45, both of Kent City, were taken to Parkview Regional with non-life threatening injuries.
