Fence Issue In Discussion

The Williams County Fair Board votes to allow the Williams County Veterans Memorial to remove a fence on its property, but with stipulations. The memorial is located on the southeast corner of the Williams County Fairgrounds. Fair Board member Matt Kennedy brought a request from the memorial board to remove the chainlink fence located by the road…to give the plot more of a public view. After the discussion, the board voted to let them remove the fence on the condition that responsibility for mowing and upkeep not fall on the Fair Board.
