Financial Picture Released In Montpelier

Montpelier education officials approve the district’s five-year financial forecast, which shows deficit spending in all five years going forward…mainly due to additional employees and employee benefits. They say it will not be a significant burden until fiscal year 2023. The higher expenditures in 2018 were due to the construction costs of the new athletic building.
