Fire in Hicksville could be electrical

We’re get­ting new infor­ma­tion about a fire on Sun­day that destroyed a Hicksville home. Four fire depart­ments responded to the 200 block of W. Hicks St. about 11:30 Sun­day night. The 1 1/2 story home is unin­hab­it­able, sus­tain­ing up to $75,000 dam­age. The occu­pants were home at the time, and they were able to get out with­out injury. The cause of the Hicksville fire is under inves­ti­ga­tion, and Fire Depart­ment spokesman Stacy Lem­per said that the fire’s cause could be electrical.
