Firefighters Knock Down Two Blazes

Crews take a on pair of fires in Napoleon. The first was at a machine shop on Industrial Drive in Oldcastle. The building’s sprinkler system was on when firefighters arrived. The blaze was extinguished a few minutes after that. No word on damage. Then, later, another call. This time on Riverview, where officials say a stove caught fire at a residence. Crews kept the damage to just that appliance. No one was hurt. Both fires are under investigation.
