A home in Defiance was damaged by flames Wednesday evening. The blaze is under investigation by the state fire marshal’s office.
Defiance firefighters were called to the Fred Connor residence on Jefferson Ave. Firefighters were also back to the scene when the fire rekindled in the attic.
There was extensive fire damage to the home with estimates of approximately $100,000 in damage to the property and contents.
No one was home at the time of the blaze and no injuries were reported.
