The banks of the Blanchard overflow into some parts of Findlay. Forecasters say the river crested at 16.5′ early Friday morning. The river should quickly fall below flood stage by nightfall. Several businesses are impacted downtown, with many roads near the river closed. County Road 236 to State Route 568 is underwater is some spots. Main Cross Street, from Western to Township Road 180…and Broad Street, along Eagle Creek…from Central to Rockside are affected as well. The Red Cross is set up on E. Melrose Avenue in Findlay. It is open for anyone needing a safe place to stay.
