Florence P. “Pat” Pollex, 81

Florence P. “Pat” Pollex, age 81, of Edgerton, Ohio, passed away at 9:27 P.M. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Center-Bryan. She worked for over 20 years at Libby Glass in Toledo. She was the first female journeyman machine repairman at Libby and one of the first in Ohio. She enjoyed different kinds of crafting, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. Every life that she touched, she brought a little sunshine to them.

Born March 19, 1936 in LaSalle, Michigan, she was the daughter of Robert A. and Clara C. (Towsley) Stone. Florence is survived by her children, Donald (Debbi) Lonsway, of Webster, Texas, Patricia (Mike) Martin, of Monroe, Michigan, Darlene (Randy) Swartz, of Sevierville, Tennessee, Chuck (Marla) Lake, of Hillsdale, Michigan, Michael (Amy) Lake, of Monroe, Michigan, Julie (David) Lane, of Stryker, Ohio and Kenny Pollex, of Nogales, Arizona; 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Kropaczewski, of Hillsdale, Michigan and Kay Wiseman, of Monroe, Michigan and a brother, Thomas (Dherlyss) Stone, of Brownsville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 grandchildren, and brothers, Ralph and Edward Stone.

Service for Florence P. Pollex will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan with Pastor Rick Stiver officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 1:00-3:00 P.M. Interment will be at Roselawn Cemetery, Monroe, Michigan.

Memorials in the name of Florence P. Pollex may be given to the Williams County Humane Society.
