Fogo explains problems with DOE data

Napoleon area school district superintendent Dr. Stephen Fogo appealed the State’s test results issued in January from the Ohio Department of Education. He explained to the Board of Education’s monthly meeting this week that some of the numbers were completely wrong, most noticeably the college preparedness data. While the state said that no one took the test and passed with the score of three or above, in fact 90 students took the test and most of them scored three or above. Other schools across the state have also found problems with their data. It will be sometime before the state responds.
