Ford To Be Evaluated

The 85-year-old Angola man, charged with shooting his 81-year-old wife in August, will undergo a psychiatric evaluation. Police that day responded to a shooting at a home on Henney Street. Officers were met at the door by Samuel Ford…who told them he shot his wife. She was found in the garage, suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Ford was charged with attempted murder in court the following day. Further hearings are put on hold, pending expert opinions.
