A Fort Wayne man led Steuben County authorities on a short high speed chase Monday night that ended with his vehicle crashing into a cement flower planting box. The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department says Andrew Moreno failed to stop for speeding and tried to elude the deputies. His car struck the roundabout at the town square, crossed over the grass on the Angola City Monument, and then crashed his vehicle on the south side hitting a cement planter box. Moreno was transported to a local hospital for medical clearance and later taken to the Steuben County Jail where he was officially arrested for being a Habitual Traffic Violator, Resisting Arrest, and Operating While Intoxicated.
