Frances M. (Ames) Nyari, age 98, of Edgerton, Ohio, and formerly of Bryan, Ohio, died at 3:20 A.M. on Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier, Ohio, after an extended illness. Mrs. Nyari attended Bryan High School and was co-owner with her husband of Nyari Trucking, which they started with two trucks and sold in 1974 with twenty-two trucks on the road. She was a member of First Church of Christin Bryan, where she played the organ for forty years.
Frances M. Nyari was born on July 13, 1915, near Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Vern E. and Marie E. (Hendershot) Ames. She married Paul Nyari on August 21, 1959, in Bryan and he preceded her in death on December 31, 1974.
Survivors include her sister, Esther (Dean) Krill, of Edgerton, and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Arlene (Howard) Culbertson and Lu (James, Sr.) Lowe.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Pastor Larry Snavely officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery near Bryan. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 A.M., on Saturday.
Memorials are requested to First Church of Christ in Bryan or Lake James Christian Assembly.
