Fremont man stabbed by wife, deputies say

A Fre­mont man stabbed on Sat­ur­day is recov­er­ing from the domes­tic assault, and Steuben County Sheriff’s Office says 53-year-old Tim­o­thy Swa­ger was allegedly attacked by his wife, Deb­o­rah. The fight occurred in the 6900 block of North Ray Road. The man was taken to a Fort Wayne hos­pi­tal where he was treated and released.
Deb­o­rah Swa­ger was arrested and booked into the Steuben County Jail on a level 5 felony count of bat­tery with a deadly weapon. She is being held with­out bond pend­ing an ini­tial hearing.
