A fundraiser to help with funeral expenses for Melody Bridges will be held Saturday at Area 51 in Hamler. Funds raised during the event also will be earmarked for her two young sons. The 34 year old mother was killed last month in a motorcycle crash in Williams County, when the bike she was a passenger on hit a deer, and she was tossed into the path of a semi truck. Saturday’s event will include a motorcycle mini-run. The cost is $15 a couple and $10 for a single. The main benefit begins at 6 p.m. and will include a 50/50 raffle and an auction with donated items. There will be a DJ providing music, and food will be available. For more information or to donate an item for the auction, call Area 51 at 419–274-1002.
