“Gadgets” could change your life; free forum Dec. 8

If you’ve ever wondered if technology could make your life easier, like reminding you to take your medication, brush your teeth or something more sophisticated, like a flameless stove that doesn’t heat anything put the pan, making fires a thing of the past.

You can see some of these technological breakthroughs at a forum put on by the Williams County Department of Developmental Disabilities. The forum is for anyone, regardless of ability, to see how today’s “Gadgets, Gizmos and Remote Monitoring” can help people live independent and fulfilling lives.

The forum is next Tuesday, December 8th from 4 pm to 7:30 p.m. at the Enrichment Center on Ohio 15 in Montpelier. The forum is free and open to the public. Free childcare is available, and food and refreshments will be served. If you plan on going and need childcare, please RSVP by calling the Enrichment Center.
