Gary R. Frank, 58

Gary R. Frank, age 58, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away at 6:40 P.M. on Saturday, September 4, 2021, shortly after admittance to Promedica Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio. Gary attended Lark Lane School and Jay Shuer School and later was employed by various adult workshops in the Toledo area. He spent many happy years living at Garden Road Group Home in Maumee and enjoyed watching movies especially “Ghostbusters. Gary also enjoyed music and singing and was not one to sit still for long, always staying busy. He loved animals and his many trips to the zoo and traveling to various points of interest with his friends. He was a purely sweet individual who was loved by all.

Gary L. Frank was born on May 10, 1963, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of Glen R. and Beverly S. (Allison) Frank, Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Beverly Frank, of Edon, Ohio; two brothers, Glen R. (Vicky) Frank, Jr., of Stryker, Ohio, and Gregory R. (Karen) Frank, of Bryan; one sister, Gina R. (Scott) Kerns, of Massillon , Ohio; seven nephews and nieces; and four great-nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Glen R. Frank, Sr., in 2013.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon. Services will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, with Pastor Dean Philips officiating. Interment will follow in Edon Cemetery.
